I'm Dhruv Reddy Lokireddy, a student at Indus International School Hyderabad. I'm passionate about exploring new developments in computer technology and hope to study computer science in college. Originally from Hyderabad, where I still live, I'm also considering a career in game design, merging creativity with tech to bring ideas to life.
And remember, I’m Dhruv—like "groove," but with a lot more drive!
"From theory to action, I’m driven to design, create, and one day, lead in game innovation."
The fact that I can achieve my goals by taking action keeps me motivated. Personal projects are fun ways to train my brain, often by learning new programming languages. I love football and even played in a national tournament for my school as the goalkeeper. I also completed an internship in AI at NUS with AWS, which has fueled my ambition to major in computer science and, one day, lead my own game company.
I'm currently in 12th grade at Indus International School Hyderabad, focusing on Math AA HL, Physics HL, and Computer Science HL, with Chemistry SL, Spanish Ab Initio SL, and English Lang & Lit SL. My internship at NUS helped me form a deeper connection with computer science and explore its possibilities for future applications in game design.
My friend and I are working on an AI chatbot that generates unique mystery cases for kids to solve, aiming to go beyond the usual two-dimensional choice structures in games. I’m responsible for programming this project using AWS, learning tools like Transcribe, Translate, Lambda, and Lex. This project has been a valuable way to learn about AI and coding as I continue its development.
During my AI internship, AIYA, at NUS, I served as the main programmer for my team. I gained a solid foundation in different software platforms, including AWS and Jupyter, enhancing my understanding of AI’s potential in game design. This experience reinforced my interest in computer science and game development, inspiring me to learn more programming languages to make games more engaging.
I've developed expertise in AWS and AWS Lambda, which I’m currently applying in a generative AI Detective Chat Bot game project. I'm also proficient with Jupyter and am currently learning C++ and Unity, the latter from a Microsoft developer, to strengthen my skills in game design. My curiosity drives me to understand the mechanics of everything I work on, and I approach challenges with calm analysis, always open to seeking guidance when needed.
